Recently I went back through paintings I’ve posted over the past year. I found a couple I didn’t like anymore. One of these, I ripped up, then put some of the shredded pieces onto two fresh sheets of paper and let new pictures emerge. This and the next image I’m going to post are the results.

I’ve often found it a good idea to keep rejects for just this type of rejuvenation project. Sometimes the whole is more than the sum of it’s parts… Nicely done!
